Historia
Holden Worthington's globetrotting days are over. Once the host of a popular adventure show, he hasn't ventured past his own front door in more than a year. Then the arrival of a sexy new gardener sparks something Holden hasn't felt in a very long time - an interest in the world outside his window. Holden tries to resist the attraction. But painfully shy yet definitely interested Adam Morgan has Holden longing to conquer his debilitating anxiety and live again. After a grisly discovery on the grounds of the estate, the town of Smithfield turns a suspicious eye on the reclusive Holden - and the two men must trust in each other to bring the truth out in the open.

Great story.
Revisado: 09-10-20
The only criticism is that the main character’s voice sounds like Paul Lynde. If you can get past that, this is a fun listen.

Better for younger guys.
Revisado: 09-04-20
This was a cute story, but I feel like it is better suited to younger listeners.

Historia
Dale Peck’s debut is a tour de force in which Martin and John find each other again and again: in a trailer park, a high-end jewelry store, a Kansas barn, and later, in New York City, living under the shadow of the AIDS epidemic. Though their names remain the same, their identities are constantly shifting, creating a fractured view of loss and desire in the early years of the AIDS crisis. Vaulting through self and history, Martin and John is one of the most remarkable novels to emerge from an America ravaged by disease.

Would be better if actually read.
Revisado: 01-26-20
A novel such as this would be better if read as a book (with the eyes) than as an audiobook. I don’t feel that the true nature of this book comes through in this format.

Rough, yet romantic. Racy, yet a nice and slow one-handed listen, Best Gay Erotica 2013 is yet another jewel in the crown of Cleis Press' gay erotica.

Locker room?
Revisado: 10-30-19
Still not sure exactly what this collection has to do with locker rooms. There were not a lot of locker room settings.

Performance too slow.
Revisado: 10-15-19
This was a lovely story, but the performer read entirely too slow. I had to put the speed at 1.5x in order to listen to it.

Fantastic audiobook.
Revisado: 06-11-19
This book was sexy without being overly graphic. It had engaging characters and setting. I am looking forward to the next in the series.
