Historia
Three years ago in a large Victorian house on the Jersey Shore in the town of Harbor Haven, fledgling private investigator Paul and his client, Maxie Malone, were murdered. Since then, recent divorcée and reluctant ghost whisperer Alison Kerby and her 10-year-old daughter, Melissa, have moved in and converted the place to a guesthouse, where Maxie and Paul are now checked in for an eternity and ready to solve any case that comes their way - or at least spook the guests (who love it). Alison’s got a lot on her plate at the moment, however, so when Paul discovers the 300-year-old ghost of a small boy in the house, he decides not to involve her in the case.

just not up to par
Revisado: 09-09-23
Narrator was awful, stiff, stilted, sounded like a child Spock. Story was very thin compared to others in this series. Really disappointed.

need a dif narrator
Revisado: 08-28-23
The narrator mixed up voices, and you never knew who was talking. Would've been more enjoyable to listen to with a different narrator.

So badly done
Revisado: 04-14-23
I've read several Koontz novels (loved the Jane Hawk series) and enjoyed them all. I would swear this was written by someone else. Extremely wordy (Koontz just is) but taking you nowhere with a ridiculous storyline thread. There could be a story for the subject but not like this. Horrible, disjointed, so shallow, no emotion or heart at all in the personal relationships. This experience was just confusing and a pure waste of time.

hard to listen to
Revisado: 11-16-22
Up front I want to say I only listen to 30 minutes. The author or publisher should have hired a professional. It should be a woman. but even a professional male would have been better. The author simply isn't any good at this. It may be a good story but I just can't listen anymore.
