Love the new series.

For me the story started out a little bit slow. But overall was a great book. I love this author and I loved the narration of the book.

Almost stopped listening

The narration was painful to listen to in the beginning, enough that I almost stopped listening to it. I am glad I stuck it out. Good characters and stories. I am looking for to getting in to more of Robin's books.

Should have read it.

What I heard of it was okay but the playback kept skipping. Also there was some background noise and the recording was loud then low. Very distracting so it took away from the enjoyment of the book. This is one that may have been better read. IMHO

It was okay!

The story itself was decent but Sylvie's character got on my last nerve. I didn't like the way they switched up the narration. In the first book the woman read all the female parts and the man read all the male part which really gets you engaged. This book the female read everything in the Sylvie chapters. If there is a third book I hope they do the narration the way they did in the first on.

I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story. I'm glad I had the chance to check out this free story. In all honesty I don't know if I would have listened otherwise. I enjoyed it so much I'm looking forward to hearing the rest of the series. Awesome job done by the narrator.

It was good but not great

Let me start with Theresa Plummer was awesome! I agree with the reviewers that said it was slow to start. I didn't really get into the story until the second book. I don't want to go too much into detail because I don't want to spoil it for those thinking about listening. There was one character introduced and as soon as the character was I knew right away where that story line was going so there was no real suspense in that part. I also found myself rolling my eyes at some of the character descriptions to me they were cheesy and I think they were supposed to be sexy or intriguing. I don't know if the different writers had something to do with the flow or lack of in some spots of the story. For the most part, though, it was decent. I actually got it to listen to in the car on my long drive to and from work but found myself listening in the house as well. Bottom line I think it's worth a listen. 😊

Kept me awake. I'm thankful.

I drive 70 miles to work every morning and was constantly in danger of dozing off. I started listening to this series and instantly became very interested in the characters and engrossed in the stories. It made the miles go by fast and made me much more alert. Awesome read or listen in this case.
