Historia
On the forge world of Morod, the machines never stop and the work never ends. The population toils in the mines and factoria to protect humanity from the monsters in the void, while the Adeptus Mechanicus enjoy lives of palatial comfort. Genetor Gammat Triskellian seeks to end this stagnant corruption. When he learns of a twisted congregation operating within the shadows, one which believes that the tech-priests are keeping people from their true salvation, he sees in them an opportunity to bring down Morod's masters and reclaim the world in the name of progress.

Really enjoyed it!

The overall story was good, but the narration is slow. I had to speed it up to 1.1 speed, and once I did it was very engaging!

Historia
In the void and upon the worlds of Greater Ultramar, the battle for the Imperium continues. Intent on rebuilding his home realm and using it as a base to reconstruct the ravaged stellar empire of mankind, the returned primarch, Roboute Guilliman, proceeds with his war to drive Mortarion and his Death Guard Traitor Legion from the domain of the Ultramarines. But when Guilliman brings his brother to battle upon the diseased plains of Parmenio, the intervention of a greater power in their fraternal struggle threatens to upend the Imperial Regent’s understanding of the galaxy.

really enjoyed it!
Revisado: 05-08-22
The first half was very similar to the last book, in fact so similar I was beginning to think that I would not continue the series, but the last few chapters were so insightful about the heresy and inner workings of Roboute's mind that I will def be continuing to the next one!

Historia
Fell times have come to the galaxy. Cadia has fallen, destroyed by the onslaught of Chaos. A Great Rift in the warp has opened, and from its depths spew daemons and the horrors of Old Night. But all hope is not lost… A hero, long absent, has returned, and with him comes the wrath of the Ultramarines reborn. Roboute Guilliman has arisen to lead the Imperium out of darkness on a crusade the likes of which has not been seen since the fabled days of the Emperor. But never before have the forces of Ruin amassed in such numbers, and nowhere is safe from despoliation.

Great book!
Revisado: 04-20-22
Got it because I really enjoy grandfather nurgle, but left with an appreciation of the ultra marines. I truly enjoyed the parts where Roboute (Spelling?) considers where the emperor lied and is faced with similar decisions to either tell damning truths or partially less damning lies. I look forward to listening to the next one!

In the aftermath of the Dropsite Massacre at Isstvan V, a battered and bloodied force of Iron Hands, Raven Guard and Salamanders regroups on a seemingly insignificant death world. Fending off attacks from all manner of monstrous creatures, the fractious allies find hope in the form of human refugees fleeing from the growing war and cast adrift upon the tides of the warp.

Great Story
Revisado: 04-02-22
Although it does not move the heresy storyline along, it does provide a great look into the minds of the Iron Hands post Istvaan. It also provides a unique look at how most astartes view the cult of the emperor and does move the storyline of the lecticio divinitas forward. Certainly worth listening to, I would recommend it to anyone who is an iron hands or salamanders fan!

Historia
Horus’ armada gathers, and he has defeated all enemies sent against him, even the Emperor’s own executioner. One barrier remains before he can strike for Terra and lay waste to the Emperor’s dream. The Beta-Garmon system occupies the most direct and only viable route to the Solar System and Terra. To break it, Horus assembles a war host of incredible proportions and Titans in untold numbers. To lose here is to lose the war, and Horus has no intention of turning back. But the Imperium understands the importance of Beta-Garmon too.

Was hoping for more Space Marines
Revisado: 05-06-21
The beta Garmin cluster is falling, Blood angels and White scars with the Titan legions are attempting to buy Dorn as much time as possible. Over all it is good and worth listening to, however, I personally wished more about the space marines were included. They make what I feel is a brief appearance. Of course Titan is in the name of title, so you get what is advertised. of course the last couple books builds up the conflict there, I guess I was just expecting a lot more. Still good for what it is though.

Historia
Born of the fiery world of Nocturne, the Salamanders believe in self-sacrifice and the sanctity of human life. Their father, Vulkan, was raised on this world, a blacksmith's son from humble origins who became a primarch of the Emperor of Mankind and forged his sons into a Legion. Their saga is one of heroism, betrayal, tragedy and rebirth. They have returned from the edge of extinction more than once, forever embattled, never bowed, the Legion and their primarch the epitome of defiance in the face of adversity. Unto the anvil, born of flame.

Revisado: 03-26-21
Fun stories, but overall it was filling in gaps. Moves the story ahead for some Salamanders and some Shattered Legions we saw in previous novels. Worth a listen, but don't expect to resume where Vulkan left off!

Historia
Reborn in body and spirit beneath Mount Deathfire, the primarch Vulkan gathers his most trusted sons and prepares for the final part of his journey. The Legions shattered at Isstvan V have stalled the Warmaster’s advance across the galaxy, but fresh cracks are spreading through the alliance between the Iron Hands, Salamanders and Raven Guard, along with mysterious rumours of the return of Ferrus Manus. Haunted by a sense of destiny unfulfilled, Vulkan must choose between joining their war of vengeance against the traitors and following his own barely understood path all the way to the Throneworld itself.

Nick Kyme, has a tendency to give a slow beginning and and worthwhile end. The beginning is dreadfully slow, but the last 2/3 of it made up for it!
