I loved all the characters and the plot. The narrator was great.
I only have one negative, the ending. I would have liked that to be more fleshed out. I felt it was rushed. However, I am looking forward to the next book in the series!!!

I have to admit that the first book in this series had my blood pressure going up with the things the main female character did and her inability to recognise who it was that committed the act.
I found the next two books a lot better and many things were explained that were hinted at in book one.
I loved the narrators, I thought they did an excellent job at bringing the book to life.

Clean historical romance with humour

The book was slow to begin with but it picked up when we got to the more interesting part.
I loved listening to it. There was plenty of drama, romance and of course humour, which this author knows how to write.
Would highly recommend it.
Can't wait for the third book!

Pretty little girls

I usually don't read these types of books. I prefer cozy mysteries but I liked the blurb and thought I would give it a go.
And I have to admit that I enjoyed listening to it more then I thought I would.
This is in a different spectrum to cozy mysteries, it is more darker and delves into the side of life that people don't really see.

This book has violence, rape (we don't see it but we can hear what is being done or are told), drugs and I can't remember if there was profanity. If there were it would have been done well for me not to remember.
I would actually recommend this book if you don't mind the things I mentioned above.

This was a lot better then the first book in my opinion. It had laugh out loud moments, suspense, intrigue and a little romance.
If you like mysteries with funny sleuths then this is for you.

I loved listening to thisaudiobook so much, I went and got the fourth book in amazon.
I loved this authors style of writing. Now this book is not the type I would have picked up but I liked the blurb and thought I would give it a go. And I am so glad that I did.
We don't really get into the mystery until a few chapters down but it was intriguing at the beginning, since it was about Jack and his past. This book is full of twist and turns and suspense.
I loved Jacks character so much and there were times I wanted to hug him. The book was not just about a mystery that had to be solved but it delves deep into the human mind and the things we are willing to do. It made me stop and think, What would I have done.
This showed how talented the author is when it comes to telling a story and the narrator suited the book which is important in my opinion. You get the wrong narrator and the book does not sound as good.
He was not perfect since at the beginning he did pause at odd times but once the story progressed he got better.
I loved how he did the sarcasm, it came out natural which made it more funny. I am glad he did not exaggerate their emotions.
I loved this book so much and would highly recommend it. I just hope we get more of Jack after book four.
There was no profanity that I could remember with mild violence and no sexual content.

I would recommend you read book one before this, the characters find things about themselves and others in the first book. The second book carries on from there.
I absoulately loved this book which is saying something since I am not really into mythology which this has in spades.
Would highly recommend.
Suitable for all. I don't remember there being any profanity. There is some mild violence and no sexual content.

I would recommend you read the books in order, otherwise you would get confused. A lot of things happen in the series and the characters also change.
If you like science fiction with plenty of suspense then this is for you.

If you want clean historical romance with a little mystery, intrigue, suspense and humour then this book is for you. I loved it! It's the type of audiobook I could listen to again and again.
Would highly recommend it.
