Brilliantly written book that sheds light on the blind spots that impact our relationships and sense of self through a framework of identifiable profiles than can be easily transposed to our everyday life. It features lucid explanations of attachment theory and transactional analysis, and a diverse array of detailed and relatable case studies. I found it to be both a practical guide for introspecting and navigating relationships at work, home and beyond, and an erudite and updated map of valuable psychotherapeutic concepts. Emma Reed-Turrell has a special talent for illustrating how our minds work– how early experiences create unconscious patterns, and how we can gain agency in transforming the tendencies that impair our flourishing.
