original story, is very hard to listen to Performance is fine but the story dragged on. and some parts it seems like there was paragraphs of just descriptor words and it made me disinterested. some parts are really interesting but then it immediately got boring again when it kept going from time frame to time frame. the back and forth just kept getting me lost. I like the ending the last hour of the book was the best for me. but I had to struggle through 11 hours to get to it.

couldn't get enough of this story!

this story did not disappoint! it started off a little slow but when it picked up I was begging for more. after finishing the 10-hour story I immediately started it over. every time I had a question about the story the next chapter answered it . the flow was terrific. this book makes you love what you get and makes you beg for more!

this was okay for like an 8 year old, never really felt like the main character was in the danger. he always seemed to have a solution that the creatures that were over a hundred years but never think of. plus all the weird laughing and almost every scene bothered me. I most likely won't listen to the next episodes if they ever come out

this book is a disgrace to Hocus Pocus name! under the disguise of the Hocus Pocus title the first book brings you to the movie that we all know and love. instead of wasting 8 hours of your life with this audio I suggest you just go turn on the subtitles and watch the movie! it is scene-by-scene almost word by word exactly how plays out in the movie. with about four different details of inner thought buy some of the witches. not revealing anything! it makes the first 8 hours very robotic as you are just wishing you had turned on the movie. which all gets explained in the second book, realizing that they never wanted to make the first book but had to to get the sales. because the lesbian witch fantasy book they wanted to make wouldn't have sold the damn copy! the sequel was boring, unoriginal, and copied many of the events from the first movie. the main character is just as closeted lesbian girl who doesn't appreciate anybody or care about anybody but herself and her interest. it doesn't surprise me at all that this has not become a movie already. I feel sorry for those who love this book because it's just proof that this generation has no imagination and fantasy!

unfinished storylines

most of the storylines seemed to cut of befor the end. had me feeling blue balled the whole time. i think the writer just didnt know how to end a story.
there are some hidden gems in here but as soon as you realy get into it, you just get a big F U as the story just ends with know warning.
