Although she's the most introverted person I've ever heard of and I'm the most extroverted in my circle, it was amazingly easy to relate to her story! She has an incredibly awkward yet inspiring life story to tell in whispers, screams, and song IN HER OWN VOICE! Fans of hers will love this book. Those who are not as familiar with her will find an exciting and emotional ride with her coming-of-age, finding herself, failures and successes story. Enjoy! :-)

I thought that having Wil Wheaton read would be distracting, but instead, he brought life and vigor to an already amazing story. Well worth a credit! Also a fabulous story for computer nerds, video game addicts, or children of the 1980's. ;-)

Leigh Bortins gives me some amazing encouragement and direction to families whose children are enrolled in Classical Conversations, a classical school, a private school, a public school, who homeschool, to those who teach, and to those that are involved with children outside of a school setting. It was well worth my time, and I will probably listen to it several more times.
