Historia
London: 1968. Liz Houghton is languishing as an obituary writer at a London newspaper when a young girl’s disappearance captivates the city. If Liz can break the story, it’s her way into the newsroom. She already has a scoop: Her best friend Marisa is a police officer who is assigned to the case. Liz follows Marisa to Dorset, where they make another disturbing discovery. Over two decades earlier, three girls disappeared while evacuating from London. One was found murdered in the woods near a train line. The other two were never seen again.

Disappointed
Revisado: 02-17-25
The storyline was predictable and sequence of events unrealistic. However, I enjoyed the historical reflection, and it's integration into the story.

Historia
It’s wintertime in New York, and for the first time since Irish immigrant Molly Murphy started her early-twentieth-century detective agency, she is completely snowed in with work. While she’s proving to be quite the entrepreneur and is very much in demand by some of Broadway’s brightest stars and Fifth Avenue’s richest families, she has to grudgingly admit that if she’s going to work more than one case at a time, then she’s going to need some help.

Imaginative, Fantasy and Futuristic
Revisado: 07-26-24
This story captivated my imagination of a future world with good and evil present, while emphasizing freedom and love. The struggle between good and evil in past and present worlds demonstrated how precious freedom is and that we must love one another to unite in freedom. The author did an excellent job narrating the book. It's a compelling story and kept my interest.

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. Revisado: 06-28-23
I thoroughly enjoyed this book! The story was so intriguing, imaginative, and touching. I felt like I was working along with Rocky and Grace to solve the numerous problems they encountered. The use of physics, mathematics, science, and engineering was exceptionally interwoven as we solved one seismic problem after another.

inspiring and Moving
Revisado: 05-02-23
Thank you for opening up your heart and sharing the milestones of your life. I am always moved by Beth's ability to express God's love and purpose. Beths passion moves me. I was brought to tears over the political attacks on Beth. I too felt so alone during that period and still cannot understand how my Christian family turned a blind eye to the atrocities of the Trump administration. My hope is knowing that I will see the goodness of the Lord in this land of the living.
