Historia
From Brandon Sanderson—author of the #1 New York Times bestselling Stormlight Archive and its fourth massive installment, Rhythm of War—comes a new hefty novella, Dawnshard. Taking place between Oathbringer and Rhythm of War, this tale (like Edgedancer before it) gives often-overshadowed characters their own chance to shine.

Stick with Kramer and Reading!
Revisado: 04-23-25
I cringed the whole way through this version. The accents don't fit, the pronunciations are off, the constant background music just took me out of the experience. If you are used to dramatized versions, this might work for you. But if you are used to Michael Kramer and Kate Reading...I would 100% suggest you stick with their version. I found myself checking over and over again how much time was left before it was over...:sigh: it still has more time...🙄😔

Historia
For a thousand years, Doro has cultivated a small African village, carefully breeding its people in search of seemingly unattainable perfection. He survives through the centuries by stealing the bodies of others, a technique he has so thoroughly mastered that nothing on Earth can kill him. But when a gang of New World slavers destroys his village, ruining his grand experiment, Doro is forced to go west and begin anew. He meets Anyanwu, a centuries-old woman whose means of immortality are as kind as his are cruel. Now they begin a struggle that will last centuries.

Wow! What an amazing find!
Revisado: 06-10-23
i am not sure what brought me here, but i am so glad i found this book! Robin gave a fantastic performance and reminded me so much of Kate Reading. i would recommend this to anyone curious about whether this is worth the credit. The only con is that i wish it were longer, on to the next novel in the series 😁

Decent Story, Amazing Performance
Revisado: 09-22-21
If I could give Michael Page 10 stars for performance i would. While this isn't my favorite book in the series thus far (The Lies of Locke Lamora was an absolute masterpiece), it did offer some resolution to mysteries we'd been left hanging on. I can say I am thoroughly looking forward to the next in the series and won't settle for anything less than a Michael Page performance 👌 👍

Historia
All that stands between the advancing army of trolls and the endangered fortress of Phylangan is a coalition force led by Alfadas, human hero and protector. He’s amassed his own legion of swordsmen, elves, and ragtag thieves to stave off the enemy. And the next move they make could be the most dangerous one of all. Those Alfadas has left behind are more vulnerable than ever - including his star-crossed elven love; their newborn child; and Queen Emerelle herself, who remains comatose and is powerless to safeguard her compromised kingdom.

I expected nothing less from Bernhard Hennen
Revisado: 09-21-20
I loved this book. I love this saga. At first I wasn't sure how I would feel about following Alfadas and Ollowain around but once the narrator began I didn't even care anymore. This was a great expansion on the first book although I feel like books 2 and 3 could have been compiled together. I liked this book better than book 2 but am still very glad I chose to listen to them both. I cannot wait for the rest of the translations to convert to English....please send more!!
