the female Narrator is abrasive at best

OMG. THE FEMALE NARRATORS VOICE IS INSUFFERABLE!!! the over enunciation is enough to make me rage but add on top of the breathy whisper voice she uses when COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY is ridiculous. why is she reading action scenes like sex scenes. the story is what it is average at best repetitive alien romance from a average writer.

The Female Narrator almost made me DNF

STORY IS GOOD. but HOLY MOLY what was the female narrators problem? she went from sound perfectly normal with a normal cadence to this weirdly slow robotic artificial deep voice FOR THE FEMALE CHARACTER. I had to speed it it up to make it tolerable it was really weird and I hated it. other then that it was fine.

The whining made me want to DNF

Overall the story is fine. I loved "nameless" but, the FMC not so much. she was whiny and petulant and weak. I hate weak FMC so maybe that just a personal thing. the narratorayion from the males was wonderful as usual. Holy hell the female characters voice made me want to rip my ears off!. I guess a credit to the narrator that she recognized that she was a whiny weakling and match the voice to it perfectly but ughhhh It's taking me over a week to get through this because I can only tolerate the voice but so much.

Brielle acts like a hater... she goes beyond being overprotective to just being miserable and desiring to have company in her misery. and nadia just letting her is ridiculous. Nadia is a grown women right? she acts like she a young teen. overall I'm kind of annoyed by both of them and I'm close to DNF

the narrorator is annoying, to say the very least the whiny voice of the women makes my ears hurt. the males voices are laughable. she should have just read it straight instead of trying to do voices it may have been more bareable, but imna completionist, so I'll finish. the stories are pretty repetitive.

lord the narrator is PAINFUL. the high pitch tone she hits makes me ears hurt. I want to DNF and just fo by the book. you should have stuck with Mary jane wells likew in the first story. her voices for both male and female characters make me want to rip My ears off and punt them to the moon.

I enjoyed the story a lot. I loved Emma and belle and their relationship. I thought it was funny and cute, much like quinns other books I've listened to. but good grief, the narrators voice and acting is god awful. the high pitch of the women voices, the American accent is terrible. it hurt my ears. Rosalyn, who narrated the bridgerton series, should have narrated this one it would have made it a lot more enjoyable.
