Surprisingly mediocre

Soooo…what’s the plot?

First off, awesome narration. On point, love it!
The story though….I only have 1 hour left in the story and I’m still unclear what the objective is. Where’s the plot? What’s the point? Someones been abducted, others imprisoned or killed, theres fighting, but…why?! I must also say that this book is difficult to listen to. It’s hard to picture what’s going on and I find myself very lost at times. I’ve never had that problem before so I can only guess this book is better to read rather than listen to. I like the characters. They are very interesting and because of that I’ll listen to the next book. Also the author seems to be a bit obsessed with making erection jokes that come across immature and unnecessary and constantly talks about the appearance of every gosh darn women that appears even momentarily in the story and there are lots of them and they are all apparently just breathtakingly gorgeous. It’s annoying and again, unnecessary.

I love the voice of this narrator but sometimes when he’s talking in the humans voice he whispers and it’s a bit confusing because it makes me think theres a reason the people are whispering in the book. Awesome story and amazing character though oh my goodness
