This why excites me. “after working 26 yrs in the for-profit capital sector of our economy and now after 9yrs of working with the poor, forgotten and demonized people of our society… I have come to learn I did not know as much about life as I thought.” - Thomas Vozzo

It’s definitely more potatoes here as of a hype book for following him and getting his voice for consulting. But the meat which there is less is solid. Listen on 2.5X if you’ve been in sales for years.

Historia
Intelligence is usually seen as the ability to think and learn, but in a rapidly changing world, there's another set of cognitive skills that might matter more: the ability to rethink and unlearn. In our daily lives, too many of us favor the comfort of conviction over the discomfort of doubt. We listen to opinions that make us feel good, instead of ideas that make us think hard. We see disagreement as a threat to our egos, rather than an opportunity to learn.

Shocked to learn I can become a Millionaire too
Revisado: 12-16-15
Fascinating coverage that ultimately lead me to believe you and I can be "Millionaires" (that word should be read in the voice of the announcer from Slum Dog Millionaire). More shocking than the book is the reviews that talk about how poor (don't excuse my pun) the book is written. Let me clarify, if you are looking for a extremely well written book look else where. Now if you want to learn how to earn wealth and ultimately open your mind to how rich people live this book is a must read.
Through out its entirely the author corrects the reality of what wealthy individuals lives look like, from that which so many people without that kind of money imagine they must live like. This was extremely helpful for me, specially eye opening to how poor I am at managing my money and household.
Additionally this book helped me to think of how I should be modeling for my children to influence their behavior before its an issue like mine, or not focus on specific achievements thinking that will ultimately give them more money in future.
WARNING: You must read this with a open mind for suggestions on how to apply, which its a treasure map to the real riches.
Now if it points out flaws in your current "wealth" building strategy test both by asking your lawyer and CPA which method is best...sure you will get the right answer.

Essentialism is more than a time-management strategy or a productivity technique. It is a systematic discipline for discerning what is absolutely essential, then eliminating everything that is not, so we can make the highest possible contribution toward the things that really matter.
