Absolutely Spectacular! Sooo good!

Out of my over 50 audio books from this past year of being on audible, this is my new favorite book. Very well written. Having Wil Wheaton read was a great touch since he is mentioned in the book briefly. Great humor. wonderful characters. I have never been so thankful to be in a multi-hour drive across multiple states because I knew I could keep listening to this book unbothered. I am not a huge comic book or video game nerd but I do appreciate 1980's references and nostalgia. I hope the movie by the same name does the book justice. Happy reading! You have got to own this one! Ready?

Least favorite of the 50 books this year

It took 3.5 hours of listening for anything interesting to happen. I don't care for the main character as she is supposed to be 18-years-old but comes across as an 11-year-old in mentality and actions. It ended abruptly with a "to be continued..." I spent more time judging this story than actually listening to it. Every time a character is described, the descriptions contradict each other immediately. For instance, something like (not a direct quote but you get the idea) "his eyes were light green, but you know, not like that neon green but a green that is more grey, but with more gold in it like a sunset, but still dark.." So frustrating! I am buying the next book just because I need some type of resolution and at least it will be something to listen to when I clean my house.

Best book of this series thus far

There were more adventures and story lines in this book than the last four. I enjoyed the character development as well as the twist in the end. An easy, yet fun listen. I am looking forward to the next book.

Could not stop listening!!!

This audiobook was over 21 hours long and I thought to myself "oh, this will last me a good couple weeks..." Well nope, I was wrong. I binge listened to the entire thing over the weekend which resulted in a very clean house, an over walked dog, multiple bathes, and a lot of cooked meals. Totally worth the listen. Author brings the story together and there is a heart warming ending. I will listen to this series again and again.Thank you for the great weekend!

Ending that brings it all together

I can usually predict a plot or ending fairly well, but I was pleasantly surprised when the author brought together all the clues within the book for the big reveal at the end. By book three, I am also more into the characters and love hearing their various personalities. very enjoyable!

Read by the author, enjoyed her voices

Good pace on story and character development. This story kept me I interested and smiling. Laughed out loud and grinned stupidly in public (flight from Nashville to Seattle) during most of the book. You get to hear some of the authors personality at the end when she tells you to stalk her. she was amusing and I will definitely listen to her other books.
