I hate when authors can't remember what they wrote in their own previous books

how can you forget the details of your own story? in this book you are telling what Pearl was willing to do to herself in the first book. you say she held a gun to her heart and was willing to kill herself before she'd be a slave again, but in the first book she held a knife to her heart not a gun. the second thing you remembered incorrectly is when you say Crow offered 20 million dollars to Bones to keep Pear, actually in the first book he offered 40 million and when Bones refused he offered to double it so he offered 80 million in total. how can you retell your own book incorrectly?? it's really annoying

this was one of the best stories I've listened to. it was so captivating, I was holding my breath waiting to find out what really happened. excellent story! and all the narration was perfect!

I really hate this book!

ok, so this is a well put together book. and the narrators are phenomenal, but I'm not even half way through this book and I hate it so much! Rather I hate how weak the female lead is. yes I know she had a horrible childhood and no role models in her life, but the excuses she constantly makes for her disgusting abusive boyfriend and her believing she deserves his abuse had me screaming and wanting to throw my phone across the room and quit listening to this story. my stomach is sick listening to this, but I'm going to continue listening and hoping she gets a backbone soon and leaves that piece of shit!!

loved the series but.......

this was an amazing series but I'm so frustrated with the unfinished story from book 4. how are they going to leave us hanging with unhinged ZZ grabbing up ivy with a gun and never letting us find out how that happened? I'm so upset with the series ending without finishing that story

I loved this series

I did love this series, some things Calloway did make me cringe and I didn't always like him, but it ended up a great love story. narration was great, but my biggest irritation is when the editors don't catch the mistakes. in book one Rome's brother's name was Christian and the next 3 books he was Christopher. I cannot stand when an author can't keep the story straight and change names and nobody corrects it!

I almost hated this book at the end

so for most of this book it was kind of slow going but it had me invested in hearing the whole story and wanted to know how it would end. and then in the last 25 minutes of the book it just quickly comes to an end. I almost threw my phone across the room and screamed " I hate this book!" but then I didn't hate it after all. but it did seem like it came to a close abruptly. I would have liked a little more story to the ending, but overall it was an ok book. I do not like the female narrator though

I loved this story!! I could feel their love deep in my chest. it was so suspenseful, I was holding my breath at some parts. the only thing I didn't like was the male narrator, he did not sound like a 20 something year old hot guy. he sounded like a mid forties non hot guy, but other than that, this was one of my favorite audible books

I loved her 1rst few trilogies but this one is way below those standards. I just finished web of sin trilogy in which Sterling Sparrow ans Aranea just met & married and his friend Mason was already dead & gone. Aranea never met Mason. now this series which takes place after that, Patrick is saying he Sparrow Aranea and Mason often have dinner together. WTH?? I expect an author to be able to keep characters in her own stories to fit in the timeline. this is very disappointing.

just can't get into this, after 10 hours of listening to how tough this girl is & how powerful these boys are and bla bla bla, they're is finally a set scene. not going to continue with this series
