Good simple story with lots af accurate information!

So there are several people bagging on this about the story line and how simple it is. The first thing to realize is this is an omnibus of 5 books that cover a total of like 45 days. There is a bunch of detail in a book like that and the author does well with giving accurate descriptions of weapons, equipment, and people. This set has alot going for it and I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next!

A great way to get to know key characters!

I listened to this after I listened to the first book so it gave me great insight to many of my favorite characters from the first book. This book is one you can listen to stand alone or you can follow the storyline and go between the two books since before each chapter begins it tells you which chapter this specific story is linked to. Either way great stories and a fantastic way to introduce many of the main characters!

This story and the characters just feel like home! This story and the narration went together seamlessly and was just a great listen! I listened to it in a single day and was irritated when I had to pause to speak to real people and leave the story! Can't wait to see what Z.S. Diamante has next.
