Engaging Series
Revisado: 04-08-18
Claudia Gray has a way with characters that is just so engaging. This book starts off dramatically and keeps the pace fast throughout. Though there is moments I find myself frustrated with Marguerite's obliviousness, overall I still enjoyed the Story.

Get past the 1st person
Revisado: 03-29-18
At first I was distracted by the first person, but I have read from this author before so I pursued. I'm glad I did. I've also come to realize the first person lends itself to the style of the story. About to start the next book in the series.

struggle to get through
Revisado: 02-15-18
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
People who can follow jumbled timelines
What was most disappointing about Chuck Wendig’s story?
The random scenes he brings in to set up the next book. A lot of the time it is just confusing, takes you out of the flow and completely superfluous.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
Normally pretty good from Star Wars, though I feel like Snap sounded really whiney.
What character would you cut from Star Wars: Life Debt - Aftermath, Book 2?
The whole scene with the Rancor trainer
Any additional comments?
This was an improvement from his first book. A lot more followable. But there is just too many timelines going on at once. I think there is just too much of him trying to throw the storyline and background in for why things are happening. Like some stories might just have their own series so things are less confusing.

Historia
As a cargo ship rockets across the galaxy to Canto Bight, the deckhands onboard trade stories about legendary Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker. But are the stories of iconic and mysterious Luke Skywalker true or merely tall tales passed from one corner of the galaxy to another? Is Skywalker really a famous Jedi hero, an elaborate charlatan, or even part droid? The deckhands will have to decide for themselves when they hear The Legends of Luke Skywalker.

fun but not great

Most of the little tales were nice. Not particularly happy with one of the tales depictions of Luke recounted from Return of the Jedi.

Great addition
Revisado: 08-03-17
Doesn't feel like filler. This is refreshing because most Star Wars canon has.
Thrawn is an interesting character with depth and it is great to see him as a well rounded character. Other characters in this are well done as well because you see their evolution.

yet another great book from Claudia Gray. So far between bloodlines and this she has done a great job of bringing new characters to life and showing alternate perspectives to the Empire and Rebellion. I look forward to more books from her.

like my adhd but worse
Revisado: 03-26-17
Way too many characters and additions of story that seemed irrelevant to the main one at hand.
Often found myself lost after a few seconds losing focus (which was easy with the poor writing)
Luckily the performance was pretty good from Marc.

took a bit to get into
Revisado: 02-20-17
I first off want to say: the voice actor made it tough for me to get into at the beginning because one of his first jobs was establishing the voice of an imperial female captain and he obviously is not skilled with female voices. Book was entertaining. Basically feels like an extended episode of rebels that may have been a flashback type thing. It is hard for me to see how the relationship they have now transformed from this.
