As others said this does not feel translated at all, Like someone put it into Chat GPT and said make it English. Then I honestly do not like this narrator at all, maybe they are better with other books but this one is horrible. The recording of the narrator is horrible also with a bunch of background static and constantly changing volumes at certain points as if it was re-recorded and then not normalized.

MC is probably the dumbest over listened to in a very long time. Honestly if this book wasn't so short and Pavi wasn't the narrator I would have returned it immediately. The main character is just super dumb, he did get a little bit better right towards the end but then the book ended and so eh... The premise of the story in the story itself isn't too bad I do like the premise it's just the way that the MC's going about doing stuff that's really dumb. I wouldn't recommend this to friends but if you just looking for something different and you will only give it a try go for it. Just to see if the story gets better I might try out the second book at some point but I also probably won't.

Main character is a complete dumbass, I cannot take listening to it anymore. This guy has no reasoning skills at all. **spoiler** you shouldn't blame the king's son of poisoning and killing the king on live TV if you a) have no proof b) are the one who actually brought the glass with poison in it to the king.
