The storyline is a bit all over the place but the story itself is so incredibly inspirational. I feel like I learned about Taraji P Henson on an intimate level I never imagined. This book is a great read for young women of all ethnicities.

I first heard about this book during an interview on The Daily Show. That interview truly did not give this book justice. I would highly recommend this to everyone. Charlamagne Tha God talks about the importance of reading books about those unlike yourself. I do agree however, I think this book will be extremely beneficial to those who find themselves in a place in life where they are not meeting their full potential.
