Historia
On a brisk autumn day, a 13-year-old boy stands on the shores of the gray Atlantic, near a silent amusement park and a fading ocean resort called the Alhambra. The past has driven Jack Sawyer here: His father is gone, his mother is dying, and the world no longer makes sense. But for Jack everything is about to change. For he has been chosen to make a journey back across America - and into another realm. One of the most influential and heralded works of fantasy ever written, The Talisman is an extraordinary novel of loyalty, awakening, terror, and mystery.

Historia
Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. But Mark isn't ready to give up yet.

Good story, okay narrator
Revisado: 01-14-25
It took me months to finish this, maybe a year.
The story was alright, it was cool and interesting to see what he would do to survive.
When there was multiple characters - it was confusing to figure out who was talking most times, they all sound the same. Wil does accents great, but most voices sound the same.

Awesome narration
Revisado: 12-30-24
Liked the narration, was able to tell who was who at all times.
At some points the story was a bit slow, but overall it was good.
Credit well spent. Had some interesting characters and some scenes that were unexpected but overall would recommend

Historia
Welcome to the Gun Show! The top 10 list is populated. The sponsorship program is open. The difficulty is ramping up. The first three floors were nothing compared to what Carl and Donut now face. The Iron Tangle. An impossibly complicated subway system built out of the world's subterranean railway systems, all combined and then tied together into a knot. Up is down. Down is up. Close is far. The cars are filled with monsters, the railway stations are less than safe, and the exit is always just a few stops away.

So much unnecessary cussing
Revisado: 07-29-23
Not sure if he’s trying to go for record breaking. But man there’s so much cussing that at some point it got annoying. I like the story, it’s okay. What makes the story amazing is the narrative.
I’ll listen to the next book and hope it’s not filled with cussed words or Ill just stop listening and just wait for the last book and see how it ended.
I don’t have a problem with cussing, but the amount of times I heard “Ah shit” “ah fuck” “fucking shit” “go fuck yourself” “fuck you all” “fucking asshole” it’s quite aggravating. Seems like half the dang book just has cuss words as fillers to enlarge the book to make it seem bigger.

Historia
Timothy Walter Bolton - better known as Timmy - has spent most of his life as a necromancer. When he isn't terrorising his enemies, he's plotting inside his castle, which is built on top of lightless chasms filled with nameless horrors and beings of a generally malevolent and megalomaniacal nature. But after one of his latest creations, a zombie hydra-dragon-bear, tries to eat him, he decides that maybe it's time to find a new, less dangerous, career.

She’s so adorable. Wow she’s extremely adorable!
Did I mentioned she’s too adorable? Sigh so so adorable!
Scowl scowl. Scowl again! Stare stare!
Sigh!!!
The story is lovely and funny and the narration it’s good.
Wish he would stop making Timmy sound so angry/upset most of the time tho.
Might consider listening to the 3rd book.

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Detective Sam Benson, a native New Yorker, is brash, opinionated, and candid. Transplanted to work on Earth's first colonized planet, he envisions a relatively peaceful job. But Benson's ruthless nature might bring it to the brink of annihilation when a series of murders occur. He suspects a non-human is responsible - an android who once shared engrams with a psychopathic human. However, the detective doesn't know other non-humans once called his new world theirs.

A Mix of Everything
Revisado: 02-03-20
I liked the story, started off great and caught my attention.
The story is a mix of GoT, and the M.I.B.
Lots of characters and places so it's easy to get confused if you're just listening to it.
There's a few twist in the story to make it interesting and overall it was a very nice book.
I believe the Author said theres 4 in total? Not 100% sure but will definitely try to listen to the 3rd book.
The narrator did a phenomenal job with the voices. Every voice was different and had different tones depending on the mood of the story
