Historia
In 1903, fishermen find a wrecked boat containing a woman, who has been badly beaten, and a young girl. In 1993, All Hallows is now a boarding school. Following his mother’s death and his father’s hasty remarriage, Lewis Tyler is banished to Dartmoor, stripped of his fashionable clothes, shorn of his long hair and left feeling more alone than ever. There he meets Isak, another lost soul, and whilst refurbishment of the dormitories is taking place, the boys are marooned up in the attic, in an old wing of the school.

I stayed up till 6am listening
Revisado: 02-25-24
this was really good both in narration and the story. it took quite a while before I could figure out what was going to happen in the end. I can usually guess the ending of books but not with this one. it did start out a bit slow but it really took off.. I was on the edge of my seat and stayed up all night listening which I paid for the next day. I highly recommend.

The government has passed sweeping new laws to monitor all citizens. And several young pregnant women have vanished without trace. As a midwife, Lainey’s mum, Emma, is determined to be there for those who need her. But when 17-year-old Lainey finds herself in trouble, this dangerous new world becomes very real.

Such skilled writing and wonderful narration. I was on the edge of my seat listening. Listening to this book felt like I was peering into the future of Republican controlled United States.
I highly recommend.

MAGA's are going to be butthurt!
Revisado: 09-06-23
I liked Holly in his other books and I liked her here. I will admit that it was a little lite on the horror part but other than that, great story set in the early days of the pandemic. Holly closely followed the protocols and that's why some people are leaving bad reviews.
The narrator was pretty good. All in all, I really enjoyed this book. I was thoroughly entertained.

Revisado: 06-02-22
this has the potential for being a really decent story but the author writing the main character lusting over every professional man in her life, even the president, was disgusting and boarder line offensive to female scientists. Also, it's an oxymoron that the president was republican and a scientist that was loved by all the people..Hahaha that wouldn't even occur in fantasy. The author got a lot of science right but everything else wrong. I'd listen to more from this author if they took the stupid crap out.

Historia
The world crashed to pieces on June 23rd and Adrian Ring wasn't anywhere near ready for it. He had no guns, no food, no friends around, a cat that wanted to slip out the back of the condo and a girlfriend trapped in the heart of the city. This is the story of how he survived. Real, flawed, and raw, Dark Recollections is Adrian's own story of how he survived after "That Day". Told through his eyes as he talks to his laptop, affectionately named "Mr. Journal".

This audio now ranks up there in my top 5 ZA books.
Wit, humor, action, adventure, zombies .. really likable main character. When this ended, I about twisted my ankle running to get the next book. I'd write more about this but sorry, I need to get back to Adrian's zombie adventures. I'm brewing a hard crush on this character! Those 39 hours went far too quickly. Narration is really top notch.

Historia
Henry never realized he was special. Sure, he’s an engineer who served his country, but when the virus hit, he found himself alone in a nearly empty world. That’s the key, though: nearly empty. There’s no one left who has the technical know-how to make the world run again...except for Henry. For humanity to survive, he will have to rebuild society out of the motley crew of survivors. It might be impossible, but at the same time, Henry has always loved a challenge.

entertaining but very unoriginal
Revisado: 04-10-22
this story had potential but it was so unoriginal. narration was pretty good. I didn't really have a problem with the sex scenes but they were boring to be honest. A couple of days after most of the population died, women are not going to be thinking of repopulating the world. That just made me roll my eyes.

1 star!
Revisado: 04-06-21
I don't think I have ever given a book 1 star before!
The story went nowhere. Nothing explained, nothing to bring the story all together at the end. Nothing.. I've never been so pissed off at a story before! It had so much potential too.

Historia
When Edward Cullen and Bella Swan met in Twilight, an iconic love story was born. But until now, fans have heard only Bella's side of the story. At last, listeners can experience Edward's version in the long-awaited companion novel, Midnight Sun. This unforgettable tale as told through Edward's eyes takes on a new and decidedly dark twist. Meeting Bella is both the most unnerving and intriguing event he has experienced in all his years as a vampire.

Revisado: 08-22-20
I love and adore all the Twilight Books. I love everything about them but this.. This book was terrible. I've honestly read better fan fiction. As for the narrator, he is skilled at his work but he was all wrong for this book.
I'm beyond disappointed!
