Inconsistent voice actors
Revisado: 04-03-24
I’m still giving the story a five star rating because it’s Agatha Christie and she literally can’t write anything bad in my opinion… but the continuous changes in voice actors for various characters made it extremely hard to follow the story and concentrate. I have listened to many, many Agatha Christie audiobooks, and this is the worst one I’ve listened to.

Historia
Everyone from Wakarusa, Indiana, remembers the infamous case of January Jacobs, who was discovered in a ditch hours after her family awoke to find her gone. Margot Davies was six at the time, the same age as January—and they were next-door neighbors. In the twenty years since, Margot has grown up, moved away, and become a big-city journalist. But she’s always been haunted by the feeling that it could’ve been her. And the worst part is, January’s killer has never been brought to justice.

Ehhh…it’s alright
Revisado: 05-14-23
Lemme start off by saying that I am not an author, nor do I think I could do any better at writing a book than our beloved Ashley did. That being said, you can definitely tell that a green author wrote this book. There is basically no character development, short and poorly executed points in the story that are *supposed* to confuse the reader on who actually killed January, an awful cliff hanger at the end which leaves the reader questioning if Margot survives, cheap reveals (example: Dave= Davies 🙄), and a completely unnecessary epilogue that felt like a teenager wrote it. Ugh. I’m not angry that I listened to it or anything, but it’s definitely not going to be one of those that I recommend to a friend or listen to again. 🤷🏼♀️

Historia
Sophie Beckett never dreamed she'd be able to sneak into Lady Bridgerton's famed masquerade ball - or that Prince Charming would be waiting there for her! Though the daughter of an earl, Sophie has been relegated to the role of servant by her disdainful stepmother. But now, spinning in the strong arms of the debonair and devastatingly handsome Benedict Bridgerton, she feels like royalty. Alas, she knows all enchantments must end when the clock strikes midnight.

Author is awesome - story sucks
Revisado: 07-27-21
This is literally almost word for word Cinderella in the first part of the book. Then, to make matters worse, Benedict gives off SERIOUS r*pey and narcissist vibes. Booooo. This book sucks.
