Actually worked!

I have a 3 year old who hates sleep. We got to the part about the sleepy rainbow flowers and she tucked HERSELF in and was out like a light. I was so happy but shocked haha.
She did fight it a lot. She told me to turn it off, tried to have a convo with her daddy, went off to play while humming to try to drown it out, yelled that she wasn’t going to lay down or close her eyes—everything lol. But it got her to sleep in the end.
Her dad and I already fall asleep using meditation apps, so the fact that there’s finally a children’s story that relaxes children and helps them sleep is amazing!
She also slept in an extra half-hour, which is actually pretty huge for her, and she slept through the night.

Economist Emily Oster uses the tools of economics to debunk myths about pregnancy and to empower women to make better decisions while they’re expecting. In Expecting Better, she shows that the information given to pregnant women is sometimes wrong and almost always oversimplified, and she debunks a host of standard recommendations on everything from drinking to fetal testing.

Lots of great data-driven information here. Can be a bit overwhelming to listen to for long periods of time.
The voice actress is very...snooty sounding, for lack of a better word. The passages themselves are not snooty, but the snooty drawl of the actress just isn't working for this book. The content itself is very fair.
I'm glad I've bought this book because of the wealth of information, however I'm a bit sad not to have access to the visual graphs.

A bit useless
Revisado: 04-09-17
I bought this book based on the reviews, but I'm not sure who this book is for. I've been meditating for 5 years now, and wanted some practical meditations, or even some buddhist insight, on pregnancy.
However, the whole book is "mindfulness is great, my app is great, my business is great". It's off-putting.
Neither a mindfulness nor pregnancy book--just the calm ramblings of a guy talking about how he wanted to write a book, and about how now he's written it. I listened to so many baseless chapters thinking "surely this is the one where the book starts".
For a more mindful pregnancy book with yoga practices, try Active Birth. For meditation practices focused on pregnancy, try YouTube. And for calmness and bonding exercises, try HypnoBirthing classes.
