Historia
This updated and expanded edition of Dr. Berry’s best seller Lies My Doctor Told Me exposes the truth behind all kinds of “lies” told by well-meaning but misinformed medical practitioners. Nutritional therapy is often overlooked in medical school, and the information provided to physicians is often outdated. However, the negative consequences on your health remain the same. Advice to avoid healthy fats and stay out of the sun has been proven to be detrimental to longevity and can wreak havoc on your system.

Dr. Berry has it right.
Revisado: 12-15-19
This book is a must read if you want to reeducate yourself against certain long held beliefs and misconceptions about health and nutrition. Dr. Berry frequently uses studies that have mislead people for so long to reveal the bias in the conclusions. If you disagree with him, he is happy to be proven wrong. Just look at the growing numbers of sick and unhealthy people as each decade goes by ... the authorities got it wrong and Dr. Berry is telling you how.

I finished listening to this book while on a visit
Revisado: 07-06-19
I finished listening to this book while on a visit to Beijing. It was fun to listen to the author's descriptions of life here because it's something you can observe! There are buildings being built everywhere and they are often empty. It really comes together when you see it yourself!

Historia
Milly's mother is a serial killer. Though Milly loves her mother, the only way to make her stop is to turn her in to the police. Milly is given a fresh start: a new identity, a home with an affluent foster family, and a spot at an exclusive private school. But Milly has secrets, and life at her new home becomes complicated. As her mother's trial looms, with Milly as the star witness, Milly starts to wonder how much of her is nature, how much of her is nurture, and whether she is doomed to turn out like her mother after all.

It kept me glued

I know I like a book when I start doing internet searches about it while I'm reading it. There are some obvious holes in the story but I still enjoyed it.

Revisado: 10-01-18
This book was boring and I did not finish listening to it because I did not want to waste anymore of my time.
