Historia
It is Massachusetts, 1692. The New World is plagued with superstition, hidden threats, and witch hunts. But something more treacherous is lurking in the woods of Terras, and seventeen-year-old Diana Vayde is trapped in the center of it. Since she was six years old, Diana’s uncle has governed the small village of Terras with an iron fist. His most recent decree is that all young women must marry before they turn eighteen, or he will choose a husband for them.

A Unique Colonial Fantasy Setting, With A Refreshingly Interesting Magic System
Revisado: 03-27-25
A captivating tale of self-discovery, duty, and identity, this story follows a young woman as she unravels not only who she is as a person but also what she means to an entire people, and who she must become for them. Spanning decades, the narrative weaves together deeply compelling character development and relationships that will make you cheer for some, despise others, and grow attached to each in unique ways.
The magic system stands out as both inventive and meaningful, seamlessly tying transformations to heritage and lineage. Characters reveal their origins not just through words but through the very nature of their power, making every interaction rich with hidden depth.
Bringing the story to life, the voice acting is nothing short of phenomenal. Each character has a distinct voice, making it easy to follow conversations without needing constant name cues.
A stellar debut from a promising new author, this is a must-read for fantasy lovers. I can't wait to see what comes next!

Horrid
Revisado: 05-21-14
This book wasn’t for you, but who do you think might enjoy it more?
People who are interested in the life of Don Piper maybe, the book is more about how proud the author is of himself then anything else.
What could Don Piper and Cecil Murphey have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Actually tell the reader why he believed heaven is real, and write less about how much money he has made, and how many opportunities he has been given since writing his first book.
What do you think the narrator could have done better?
The narrator was actually great.
What character would you cut from Heaven Is Real?
The author?
Any additional comments?
I have read seven other books about near death experiences, and thought this book would be like them. I was disappointed when I found this book to be little more than a lengthy ego trip.

Atwater. Unbelievable
Revisado: 05-07-14
What would have made Near-Death Experiences better?
The book made grandiose statements offering zero citations and zero actual evidence other than the author's word. The book regularly invoked obscure and mythical methods of healing that have long been shown to offer no benefit, and in some cases, cause potential harm, as proof of her claims.
What could P. M. H. Atwater have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
Base her research in something substantial. Also use facts not opinions to support her claims.
Would you be willing to try another one of Tantor Studios’s performances?
Yes, nothing was substantially wrong with the audio, the quality was good.
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Nope, just seemed like the ramblings of a failed scientist who's only goal is to get someone to believe they accomplished something.
Any additional comments?
This book was hard to listen to, hard to believe, and hurts the idea of near death experiences more than it helps. As an unbeliever I am partially grateful for this, but sadly I will not get a refund for money spent on a series ultimately unsubstantiated and grandiose claims.
