Wow, wow and wow! What a start to the Borderland Ladies series. I literally could not put the book down. It is the story of Bran, and Marin, Lady Of Werrick Castle, in her Fathers absence. It is a wonderful story with emotional ups and downs, crying and wishing for love. Madeline Martin has always been an amazing author, but this one was beyond amazing. I personally can’t wait for the next book. The book includes enough drama, past guilt, uncertain feelings, a battle, enough to keep you on your toes and wanting more. This is an excellent example of why I love Scottish historical romance. Through Ms. Martin the characters come to life. Please do yourself a favor and read this. You won’t be sorry. I was gifted this book and am voluntarily reviewing. Five+ stars. I read this book and just finished the audiobook. It is a wonderful story, with flawless narration. I hope the rest of the series is released on audiobook as well.

French Duke and his Princess

I totally recommend this book. The dual narration was very well done. It was a very heartfelt lovdstory as told from the hero and heroine perspectives. There was humor and romance that were great. M heart broke for Chance and Ambrosia. The road to the HEA is a rough and long one, but oh so worth the journey. I highly recommend this and any by Annabelle Anders. Five stars.

Excellent paranormal Regency romance ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is unlike any I’ve read as a Regency paranormal romance. Sandra Sookoo did a fantastic job writing this. I was engrossed in it from page one till the last . Donovan, eighth Duke of Manchester is cursed to walk the earth as a wolf shifter. He is in a small town away from his London home, when a woman is almost run down by a carriage when he, in wolf form, runs into her, knocking her out of the way to save her life. When she, Alice, awakens next to a naked man, she is taken aback by her situation. Donavan, can’t believe she would not get out of harm’s way and tells her she must be blind to have not moved. Alice replies she is blind and proceeded to touch and feel him to “see” the person who saved her life. Here begins their fated meeting. Can a cursed mentally scarred Duke and a blind mentally scarred spinster find a love to break a curse? The journey of acceptance of one’s self and unconditional love is one worth traveling with these two tortured souls. I loved this story and can’t wait to read the next Lord’s tale. This was very well written with well developed and believable characters. I highly recommend this audiobook. The narration was excellent with flawless movement from Donovan to his beast to Alice. Five glorious stars!

An unusual romance for me. A older widow and a Maestro 13 years her junior I the Victorian era was taboo. Can they fight the societal issues to curb their burgeoning romance? You’ll have to read/listen to find out. I loved this story by Sandra Sookoo. I didn’t care for the narration, especially the attempt at the male voice. A good story that had me listening into early in the morning. I recommend this audiobook. I received this copy from the author and am voluntarily reviewing.

Time travel at its best

This is the first book in a collaboration of Julie Johnstone and Cecelia Mecca’s called Highlander’s Through Time. Books 1 and 3 are by Julie Johnstone and 2 and 4 by Cecelia Mecca. This series promises to be EPIC if book 1 is an example. They are both awesome authors and I can’t wait for brother number 2s story. I was so entranced by this book and it’s premise and characters, I could hardly put it down. It is so good you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend this book. Narration was awesome as always with Tim Campbell.

Wonderful set of Viking Romance

I adored these three tales of Elswyth and the three men who touched her life m. There is much tragedy and heartache in this. An awesome story of love and faith overcoming the past to survive. It sucked me in from page one till the last. My emotions were all over the place. It was well written with an excellent narration. The characters burst to life in my mind. Sights and smells described so well I could feel the heat and smell the scents as she described them. I felt the iron taste of blood as I listened. This is my first book by Emmanuelle de Maupassant but it certainly won’t be my last. Due to strong sexual content I would recommend adults only. Still, it was a magnificent piece of work. Five stars across the board.

Wonderful romance

Brant and Alyssa were raised on opposite sides of the tracks. Alyssa has been in love with Brandt for years. But, as Brandt’s best friends sister, he knows she’s off limits. This romance was delightful. Finding love can be so sweet. Laugh out loud moments make this couple seem real and likeable. The author did a wonderful job bringing the characters to life. I highly recommend this audiobook. It is the first I’ve listened to by this author and it won’t be my last. I was gifted this audiobook at my request and am voluntarily reviewing.

Wonderful Regency romance

I loved this story of Lady Hannah and Graham. Two people who are fated to be together but who fought it every step of the way. The characters were well developed and loveable. The narration was done very well. I enjoyed this from start to finish.

I loved this heartbreaking tale of a love and devotion to one another across years. Sinclair and Lydia were well developed. I fell in love with them both and young Henri as well. Narration was well done.

Different wonderful Regency romance

I loved this book. Darcy and Cameron’s story was delightful. A widowed woman sets her sights on Cameron, Duke of Athelby. A twist to this story sets it apart from the normal Regency tale. Witty banter and steamy passion run wild and will capture your attention till the last page of this novella. I am looking forward to reading more in this series. I only wish it would have been longer. A delicious tale of finding love where you didn’t expect to. Tamara Gill is a wonderful author. Her characters are well developed and loveable. I highly recommend this book.
