Historia
At midday on May 4, 1970, after three days of protests, several thousand students and the Ohio National Guard faced off at opposite ends of the grassy campus commons at Kent State University. At noon, the Guard moved out. Twenty-four minutes later, Guardsmen launched a 13-second, 67-shot barrage that left four students dead and nine wounded, one paralyzed for life.

Great Book & Narrator
Revisado: 12-09-22
I love the way the narrator says "horror". Also, the intimate breakdown of this terrible period of history was great.

Historia
Months after the Waterless Flood pandemic has wiped out most of humanity, Toby and Ren have rescued their friend Amanda from the vicious Painballers. They return to the MaddAddamite cob house, newly fortified against man and giant pigoon alike. Accompanying them are the Crakers, the gentle, quasi-human species engineered by the brilliant but deceased Crake. Their reluctant prophet, Snowman-the-Jimmy, is recovering from a debilitating fever, so it's left to Toby to preach the Craker theology, with Crake as Creator.

Least favorite of the trilogy
Revisado: 07-30-22
Enjoyed the first two books much more than this one. Don't get me wrong, it was still great to see how some characters developed and storylines ended; but it wasn't quite the awesome finish I was expecting. That said, MA is still an incredible author and I love her writing.
