Sherrilyn Kenyon returns in this new Darkhunter tale featuring Ariel and Valteri. Cursed by a an embittered crone who watched her son die in battle, the Crone curses Ariel to come to Earth to love Valteri and have him die in her arms. In true Kenyon style Valteri has been tormented his whole life for having eyes of two different colors and thought of being the devil. It is fascinating to watch the development of the relationship between Ariel and Valteri. Having Shadow and Thorne in this book only makes things more fun. I
I listened to this book as I usually do with Sherrilyn's books as I think it helps with the names. Also using her website to help with characters and family trees never hurts either!

PDE has hit it out of the park again with a action and emotionally packed novel! I love how she writes about the "beautifully broken" and how these couple work with each other to accomplish and support each other with work goals. With this both she has also addressed alternative lifestyles in a loving and sensitive way.

I received this audio as part of an ARC and while I love audiobooks I had some hesitation because I have had hit or miss results with male narration! Greg and Tim are fantastic! Great intonation and inflection! Thank you! Not to mention the swoon worthy Texan accent.

Susan Stoker hits another one out of the ballpark with this great novel that is full of action and romance while dealing with real life issues like addiction. Love the relationship between Devyn and Lucky. Stoker makes us all wish we had a "Lucky" to take home!

Great start to a new series!

I enjoyed getting to know Elodie and Mustang and the rest of the team. The book progressed at a good pace introducing the characters and team, high action. I like how once again in a book the other series were mentioned. I throughly enjoyed the dual narration. Hope Baker gets his own book.

I'm a big fan of Patricia Eddy and I love how she she writes about interabled couples that are as she puts it "beautiful broken". Books are written so there is no pity party for the characters and I love how the narration was done for this book.
