Historia
Viv's career with the notorious mercenary company Rackam's Ravens isn't going as planned. Wounded during the hunt for a powerful necromancer, she's packed off against her will to recuperate in the sleepy beach town of Murk—so far from the action that she worries she'll never be able to return to it. What's a thwarted soldier of fortune to do? Spending her hours at a beleaguered bookshop in the company of its foul-mouthed proprietor is the last thing Viv would have predicted, but it may be both exactly what she needs and the seed of changes she couldn't possibly imagine.

Delightful
Revisado: 03-23-24
Bookshops & Bonedust was a delightful escape. A wonderful way to put the world down for a moment...to empty my mind of all its daily thoughts and worries and settle for a while in another world.
I laughed out loud and couldn't help but cry a bit at the end. It's interesting how nice things can break your heart in just the right way.

More please!
Revisado: 08-24-23
This is one of those books where halfway through you realize you've found a new favorite writer. I'm really hoping there will be a sequel or that someone will buy it and turn it into a movie or series. Arquin created a robust scifi world with layers of intrigue and complexity. One book isn't enough to explore and enjoy this world. More please!
