Historia
This is the extraordinary story of John Carter, who returns to the Red Planet in search of his beloved, Dejah Thoris. John lands in the Valley Dor, which is populated by vicious plant men, and discovers the Lost Sea of Korus, guarded by the great white apes and horrifying lions of Barsoom. It is here that he finds the princess Thuvia, who is a captive of the Holy Therns, high priests who eat only human flesh slain by their plant men.

A lot of action yet it really didn't catch me.
Revisado: 02-21-12
What did you like best about Monster Hunter International? What did you like least?
I liked the trips to the other world and to ancient Mexico. I didn't really like the main character. I just couldn't relate to him in a positive way. He seemed like a stupid tough guy. The other characters also did not hook me. I can't put my finger on it, but it seemed like the characters weren't developed fully.
What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?
Ancient Mexico tribes and religion and supernatural beings. The main character's love interests.
What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?
It moved quickly. I didn't care at some points.
Was Monster Hunter International worth the listening time?
No.

Historia
My name is Kvothe. You may have heard of me. So begins a tale told from his own point of view - a story unequaled in fantasy literature. Now in The Wise Man’s Fear, Day Two of The Kingkiller Chronicle, Kvothe takes his first steps on the path of the hero and learns how difficult life can be when a man becomes a legend in his own time.

Outstanding story - a must read.

What made the experience of listening to The Wise Man's Fear the most enjoyable?
In many ways this is beter than R.R. Martin and Jordan. This author actually cares what the reader experiences from a readers perspective. To hell with the publishers. The world that the characters is built well enough the grasp the essence of the scenes yet not get bogged down in minutia. The ending leaves you content but wanting so much more. There is resolution but still enough loose threads to make you curious.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Cluoth was the main character and the whole story revolves around him.
