My personal revival will start with this desire to change my culture, which is hard. it's all I know. I get into routines. my normal get comfortable. my culture for too long has been approval and acceptance. my prayer life grows, then my pears convince me to pray less, and God will still bless. though that's true, I must push past the encouragement to reduce my prayerlife and... well, you know. we all struggle with the same things.

Now that I read this wonderful book, I'm going to do my quarterly reading through the Bible and then pick another book that was recommended in this book on the cross, then continue my quarterly reading through the Bible. This routine works for me, Lord Jesus. Keep me at the cross. What happens, come whatever, I want to be ready, in Jesus' name, I pray.

Erwin Lutzer's book was recommended from the pulpit by my pastor this weekend. I believe the heart should be our real focus and not the storm around us. But if you haven't read any books on the storm that is brewing around us, this would be a good book to get focused on what's going on.
Impressively, Lutzer quotes from Pual David Tripp. My wife and I are doing the study guide of Tripp's book: "Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands." Even though we are up on what's going on, where realizing that heart matters are what's gonna get us ready for the Lord's return.
The first 10 chapters are similar to these other books:
"Right Thinking in a World Gone Wrong." John MacArthur.
"Is The End Near?" Michael Youssef
"Global Reset." Mark Hitchcock.
"Foresdows." Steve Miller

The book had the feel of New Apostolic Reformation. An excellent reference of the dangers of New Apostolic Reformation theology is Holly Pivec's book; "Counterfeit Kingdom". If your looking for your identity, a much better book to know God's will for you and your identity is "Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands" by Paul David Tripp

I'm a victim of this Reformation. it's been years for my wife and I to realize what's in this book without the book. listening to this book confirms our feelings and gives us a trajectory on what to do and where to go. thank you so much for putting in paper what our hearts with trying out for decades. purchased several copies I plan to purchase several more the paperback of this book and giving them to pastors and key people that we know could make a difference.
