Early on the morning of February 17, 1970, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina, a Green Beret doctor named Jeffrey MacDonald called the police for help. When the officers arrived at his home they found the bloody and battered bodies of MacDonald's pregnant wife and two young daughters. The word "pig" was written in blood on the headboard in the master bedroom. As MacDonald was being loaded into the ambulance, he accused a band of drug-crazed hippies of the crime.

Terrible naration. Purely one sided storyline. Even the earlier book, Fatal Vision, provided exculpatory theories, but not this book. Not worth downloading

Needs a Manual

The tapes do a wonderful job at reinforcing previous lessons and with extensive listening you might be able to eventually carry on a conversation. Pimsleur's Spanish learning series lack a very important element, that being a student manual broken down by chapters. When the tapes have you memorizing sentences, at times it is hard to know what some of the individual words mean. There are lesser expensive audio books out there that have excellent manuals, it is disappointing that Pimsleur hasn't adopted one for his program since not everyone listens to these tapes solely while driving. Though I'm interested in advancing to more advanced Spanish lessons, I'm not sure I'll buy Pimsleur's Spanish II. They don't seem to be worth the expense without a manual to enhance learning.
