Historia
It's been 18 years since I lost my fiancé, and I'm struggling to move on. I grieved him when he died, then grieved him again when his sister wrote a book about his inspiring life a few years later. Now that book is becoming a movie, and I'm about to grieve him for a third time. To make matters worse, the actor cast to portray the love of my life on the big screen just walked into my bar, begging me to help him with the role.

This audiobook was fantastic. I enjoyed every minute of it. Duet and full cast production audios are just my favorite. It really brings the story to life, and I truly feel that the narrators did just that. I got a chance to watch an interview with the author and she talked about how this is the first audiobook that the two narrators did and wow. They are so amazing and I hope that she continues to work with them. They bought such life to this beautifully well written love story. This beautiful love story includes a lot of heavy topics, and I think that the narrators handle the grief, addiction, and pain so well. I do not generally like to read contemporary romance that has such a heavy topic, I tend to shy away from them, but being that this book was chosen for a book club inevitably I would have to read this book. But once I heard the audiobook in the sample, I got really excited and I got to say I think the audiobook made this book so much easier to digest and to really deal with just those heavy topics. This book beautifully written, and I look so forward to more books from this author, and I look forward to listening to more of her audiobooks if she publishes it.

I am such a fan of these actors. They did a great job. The book is a heavy topic and the authors did a great job in telling this story. The voice actors are just great and I look forward to the next series from this author

Not for me. But will try her next book
Revisado: 06-28-22
Wow, was this book a lot for me. I was so excited to read this as a book club selection. I actually did not know what this book was about until chapter 5 I decided to read the Synopsis of the book. After reading about it I was pleasantly surprised and excited about that aspect. A plus size influencer who talks about body positivity and loving your self hitting the gym and enjoying life with a gym Enemy “squat thief “ what can go wrong. SO MUCH CAN !! While I absolutely enjoyed the writing and loved the narrator, I just felt that this book just was not it for me.
1st half of the book I was hating Scott. By the 2nd half I was very upset with Kristal. I felt no chemistry in this story. Just 30yr acting like teenagers.
This book had many plots that were left unchecked. I this the MC never talks about how beautiful she is or what she loves about her body, but focus one Scott. Gosh I get it “he is HOT” but like the conventional Europe white all American hot. Ok I got! Now move on. I also hated the back and forth she had inside her head overthinking everything and coming up with elaborate stories. Every time I read it I kept on thinking wow where did she get that from. How did she come up with that. Why would she think her grandma was cheating on her grandpa 😤. It was a lot.
By the 3rd act dreaded breakup. 😒. I was over this book. Just over it. I hope the next book that comes out is a bit less in the MC head and more enjoying life and not Self-centered selfish and Judging.
I loved the narrator. The audiobook was well produced. The pace was great. I look forward to reading Amy’s next book.

The Voraxian king has come again—and this time, he's come for me. I've got no desire to be claimed by the alien king. Blue skin, seven feet, and strapped with muscle, I've seen what his kind does to humans. And I don't care that he watches me with hunger.

Ok so I read this book prior to listening to the audiobook last year. And I really enjoyed it. It was my 2nd Alien romance that I read from this Author and I am hooked. So once I new she was releasing an audiobook I new I had to have it. And boy am I happy I got it. The narrator did an amazing job and brought such life to the book. I do have to say I thought Mari sounded more like What I thought Kiki would sound like in my head ( if you read taken to Nobu you would know why.). I thought Mari would sound sweet and shy so I am pleasantly surprised of how she sounds and I love it! But Svera sounds just like what I thought lol 😂.
But wow 🤩 duet. I love it cuz hearing Raku. Sexy. Scary, exciting, like wow. And it was great to hear all the words I could not pronounce.
I look forwarded to all her audiobook to come and I hope we get one for Population series.

Miari: Blue skin. Seven feet. Strapped with corded muscle, the aliens have come again but this time, their king is here and he's watching me with hunger. A hybrid with red alien skin and brown human eyes, I've got no family and am not desired by colony men. I'm an inventor, a mechanic, a tinkerer. The alien king seeks to claim me, but he'll have to find me first. Our little colony is a scary, desperate place and I'm willing to meet it head on if it means escaping him and the alien sensations he stirs deep in my gut, where light and truth cannot touch them.

Shiromi Arserio is absolutely fabulous. I enjoyed this audiobook very much! The story was very good as well I did get confused at some point at the end and I felt the ending was rushed. I also would have loved more of character development of Zenna. She was very angry for a long time. But other then that I enjoyed it and look forward to reading more from the author and Listening more to narration by Ms. Arserio

So wonderful
Revisado: 02-07-22
I truly love this book. It’s such a fun read, I love the whole aspect of being on the reality show. You really feel like you are part of it. I enjoy the friendships in this book. I absolutely need a Janelle and Dev book next !!! I could not put this book down. I did feel that the semi explicit love scene was unneeded but I do believe it’s called closed door it’s not fully fade to Black scene. It really didn’t need it the book was fabulous with out it. The sexual tension and chemistry was superb. I ended up getting the audio and the physical copy.
As for the audio. I think Zenzi did a great job but since I often to listen to books I am a bit more critical. I felt that the voice did not change for the school character. Only time if felt that there were slight changes were for the Show Host and when Kenya was acting super cute. I could not tell when her voice went deeper for the male characters. I think that made the audio less enjoyable because there was no versatility and how each character was expressed. Yet I truly enjoyed The narration. I love how Zenzi read and I enjoyed her tone
Overall this was a great book. I would recommend.
It’s just the audio was good but could have been a bit better. I can’t wait to read and listen to more books by this author
