Historia
Why is Miami… Miami? What does the heartbreaking fate of the cheetah tell us about the way we raise our children? Why do Ivy League schools care so much about sports? What is the Magic Third, and what does it mean for racial harmony? In this provocative new work, Malcolm Gladwell returns to the subject of social epidemics and tipping points, this time with the aim of explaining the dark side of contagious phenomena. Through a series of gripping stories, Gladwell traces the rise of a new and troubling form of social engineering

Historia
The white power movement in America wants a revolution. It has declared all-out war against the federal government and its agents, and has carried out - with military precision - an escalating campaign of terror against the American public. In Bring the War Home, Kathleen Belew gives us the first full history of the movement that consolidated in the 1970s and 1980s around a potent sense of betrayal in the Vietnam War and made tragic headlines in the 1995 bombing of the Oklahoma City federal building.

Very well written, researched and not boring. It’s a shame it’s nonfiction.. we clearly have a problem in this country. That’s not going away anywhere soon. US military, we could write our own happy ending..

Where phenomenal storytelling and History Meet
Revisado: 10-16-23
If you only read one book about how we got to here, this is it. a story of how the road to an insurrection, and a personal reckoning are often paved with the best of intentions. A cautionary tale for us.

This book is both frightening and inspiring. We have a duty to the present and future citizens of this country and our place as a global democratic leader to be our best selves and find a way forward. This book is a blue print

Explains my whole political experience in America
Revisado: 12-24-22
As someone who is radicalized, at least, that’s what my Republican fathers characterization was after Kent state, even though I was not old enough to even be in high school at the time; this book both shows the way forward by remembering the past while making it clear leave a lot of work to do. Highly recommend. Yes I’m aware this is a run on sentence.

Great Book if a tad confusing
Revisado: 11-25-21
If you love Dr. Eversong and the way that Alex Kingston performed her, then this is the book for you. It gives you every bit of Dr. Riversong and Alex Kingston at their finest. The story is a little confusing auditorily speaking; best to listen to it when you’re not driving if possible. Looking forward to listening to it again to feel of the plot holes, but overall quite satisfying. Highly recommend that you buy it.

Historia
She was already well-known in some circles before March 6, 2018, but that's probably the first time you heard the name Stormy Daniels. That's the day she filed a lawsuit against President Donald Trump over a nondisclosure agreement negotiated before the election but never signed. How did Stormy Daniels become the woman willing to take on a president? What is it like to be reviled by some, held up as a beacon of hope by others, and to be an object of fascination to all? In this audiobook, Stormy Daniels tells her whole story for the first time....
