story line was great. author captured my attention the entire book. love the cliff hanger at the end. it was a great way to get you coming back for more.
voice of the narrator was good. kept me awake and going.
seriously cannot wait for book 2.

Another fantastic book

From beginning to end, this book was thrilling. I have been following Kendra on her journey. Including Eve's series that kendra appears in on occasions. Iris Johansen keeps me guessing and intrigued. Seriously can not wait to see what happens next.

the series was outstanding. I loved the fact there were twist and turns. in most series you learn the pattern and know what's going to happen next. in this one it was not always true.
the only issue I had was with Mel. during the first parts of the series she had attitude, a very strong personality. After her battle, well it was a complete 180.

I laughed so hard during a couple moments. then got the tear jerking. this author is magnificent. how she portrays such emotion, it made me wonder the difference between real and fantasy.

the world she created in this book, is amazing.

what was lost, can be found again. at one point, while driving home from work, I almost wrecked my car. I was laughing so hard. that tears were streaming down my face. the banter between the council members was just to funny.

I have been in love with this series. the way the emotions touch you in this book.... I cried. there was no way to stop it from happening. his struggle hit close to home on so many levels.

I have never heard about this series. yet now that I am just getting into it. I find myself not wanting to turn it off. absolutely love it. the way it makes me forget about everything going on around me and engulfs me.
