Historia
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Lots of plot, not much art.
Revisado: 06-26-23
Begins like a high school essay, moves along well. A few characters but they are developed nicely. Somewhat anti climactic.

Witty dialogue but too grisly for me.
Revisado: 07-23-21
It's a book about serial killings with dismemberment. You'll become intimately familiar with the gruesome results. On the other hand, the writer has sense of humor. The narrator's voice takes a little getting used to but is fine. I stopped before midway so cannot speak to the latter half of the book.

Superb. Better than Book 1
Revisado: 10-20-20
Great dialog, great characters, great plot, great narration = great book.
I listened to Book 2 before Book 1. That worked out ok. I liked Book 2 better than Book 1 but Book 1 was also great.
The author has an interesting base premise but he is not so self indulgent that he spends gobs of time trying to glorify it, burdening the reader with back story for it, having the characters praise it, etc.
Narrator is top shelf. This book can hold your attention well even if all you are doing is listening to it while alert yet the narrator is so smooth that you can also listen to this at bedtime.
I wish there were more than two books in this series, If there were ten more they would be my next ten listens,
