The story was interesting and cute. Everything was good except the ending. It was kinda abrupt and I needed an epilogue or some peak in the future.
The narrator was amazing.

The stupidest book I've ever read. The heroine is constantly ho*ny and it's basically what this book is about. That and the hero being a Russian orphan and heroine feeling bad whenever he's reminded of it, which is all of the time.
Do not recommend. A waste of money and time. The narrator was good though.

good narration, terrible story

The heroine lied to the hero until the last 35 minutes of the book. And she deliberately made up lies, knowing it'd hurt the man she claimed to love. And she didn't even have the guts to tell him, he found out by accident. Oh, and to top it off, he was the one who chased her, felt guilty and she still rejected him and hurt him even more.
The narrators were good, but I wouldn't recommend this book to anyone.

The story was repetitive and the heroine immature, even though she was 33. The female narrator wasn't great either.
H was a short story, but it felt longer because it was so repetitive and boring.

This had potential to be good, but the misunderstanding / third-act breakup near the and didn't work for me. But both main characters were likeable and it was a fun time.
The male narrator wasn't the best. He has a nice voice, but he reads too fast in comparison to the pauses he makes after a sentence, or punctuation sign.
If you like British heroes and grumpy/ sunshine trope, I'd recommend this book.

A waste of money and time

Both narrators were awful. The way the did different characters' voices was horrendous.
The story itself wasn't great in the beginning, it got better in the middle, and the ending sucked completely. What the hero did to the heroine, was duel and didn't make any sense. the chased her throughout the whole book, and after she finally gave in, confided in him, he did exactly what she was so afraid of. For her own good.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

If You're looking for opossites attract romance, this is a book for you. The hero was book boyfriend material; there's nothing he wouldn't do for his queen. And the heroine was good too. She wasn't a blushing, bumbling virgin, and I loved that.
Would definitely recommend.

A good Monster romance

I loved the first book in the series and I really liked this one too. I disliked that a few times, the heroine gave into the hero, even though he was the one who pused her away. And I didn't like how one narrator spoke faster than the other, so whenever chapters switched, I had to change listening speed. Otherwise, it was a fun, solid read and I'm excited to read other books in the series.

An okay sports romance. The narrators were good. The story and the writting reminded me of Marina Zapata's Wall of Winnipeg.
