It has been 10 years since Tamara walked the dark halls of her family home. Something bad happened to her in the manor when she was 14, but she can't remember any of it. A decade on, Tamara can't sleep. She has nightmares about the house and the brooding woods. She sees a dark place in her dreams, a place she knows she mustn't go. Something is waiting in the woods of Towneley Manor, and the only thing Tamara can remember is the symbol she sees in her dreams. An eye surround by a black sun. Watching her. Never letting her go.

A nice slow burn

The characters are well written to the point that it merges supernatural and psychological horror. Tension really grows as the story goes on, and while the narration isn't overly dynamic, its vibes with the slow burn, creepy atmosphere. Overall, not exactly what i was expecting, but I liked it. It reminded me a bit of classic horror flicks like Rosemary's baby and The Haunting
