Okay, so I will be the first to say that I don't like the characters in this series of books. But let's be fair, not all characters are meant to be liked.
It is a shame that so many bad reviews caused him to finish early, and it's also sad that it wasn't properly finished the way he meant to finish it.
But if I may say for future reference. Don't limit yourself to all the petty attitudes of the Universe. Be a God and create the world you were meant to write.
For anyone reading these three books, let me tell you. Even though it was finished early. The last book had me laughing and truly engrossed.
As for the Author.... Brilliant Idea for a story series, but please stop limiting yourself to what people say.
If they hate something about it, we'll To Fn bad for them. If I were you, I would be more like Sam in the last book and make everyone involved regret ever crossing him. I'm halfway through the last book, but already, it has had me laughing and hating and surprisingly curious as to what will happen next.
Oh, and if you read this review, please send me a link to your next books. I will be looking forward to the myriad of emotions you bring forth.

I must say that I had a hard time at first, but as the story progressed and the background was revealed, I started to enjoy myself. I can't say that it's perfect, but I can say that I did have a hard time putting it down. Much like a child growing up or life as time passes, this series has been getting better as it grows and matures. looking forward to the next set of books..
