I REALLY DON'T like the ending
Revisado: 03-08-25
Catching story, performance very good, but the ending! Really? I don't know, the plot was exquisite, you did not have to overdo it like that.

Historia
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

I enjoyed it a lot!
Revisado: 01-30-23
I saw quite a few reviews saying the MC was a (fill in a nasty word as you wish:-). But I liked him a lot! The story is catchy and I flied through it very pleasantly....
Sadly I had to strike one star for the occasional endless lists read in a robot-like manner repeating the same words again and again - that was super-annoying:-(
Nevertheless I am going to purchase the next part right now!

Love it!
Revisado: 06-27-21
Before finding this series I started to believe all stories nowadays are the same. The more brutal the better, more or less lame plot hoping for more readers by adding idiotic heroism of immortal main characters at the end...of course the hero has to nearly die under very dramatic circumstances at first...
This series surprised me by being very different, the style reminding me far more of Agatha Christie's or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's stories I love so much. Smart, interesting, building the story with elegance and without cheap sensations. It actually counts for all the books of this series so far, but usually I am not so keen on writing reviews.

Good story, but next time pls put longer gaps between sections. It's confusing sometimes when the story jumps do fast between characters.

Historia
Killing Floor is the first book in the phenomenal best-selling Jack Reacher series by Lee Child. It introduces Reacher for the first time, as the tough ex-military cop of no fixed abode. Trained to think fast and act faster, he is the perfect action hero for when times get tough.

Good story, horrible narration
Revisado: 04-08-18
I only finished this book because I was curious how it ends. In the most of it the narration sounds like shopping list or user manual being read out loud. Gets little better in the second half but still not very pleasant experience.

When he left the LAPD, Bosch took a file with him: the case of a production assistant murdered four years earlier during a film-set robbery. The LAPD thinks the stolen money was used to finance a terrorist training camp. Thoughts of the original murder victim were lost in the federal zeal, and when Bosch decides to reinvestigate, he quickly falls foul of both his old colleagues and the FBI. When the investigation enables him to meet up with an old friend, shadows from his past come back to haunt him.
