Historia
Millions of people visit xkcd.com each week to read Randall Munroe's iconic webcomic. His stick-figure drawings about science, technology, language, and love have a large and passionate following. Fans of xkcd ask Munroe a lot of strange questions. What if you tried to hit a baseball pitched at 90 percent of the speed of light? How fast can you hit a speed bump while driving and live? If there were a robot apocalypse, how long would humanity last?

a bit repetitive but enjoyable
Revisado: 08-08-18
I think this book is more suitable to be read with graphics and such included. luckily Will Wheaton does an excellent job reading for Randall, which keeps the book enjoyable. still, some of the questions aren't particularly well answered or the answers get repetitive.

Historia
In 2007, a short blogpost by Gawker Media outed PayPal founder and billionaire investor Peter Thiel as gay. Thiel's sexuality had been known to close friends and family, but he didn't consider himself a public figure, and believed the information was private. This post would be the casus belli for a meticulously plotted conspiracy that would end nearly a decade later with a $140 million dollar judgment against Gawker and its bankruptcy. Only later would the world learn that Gawker's demise was not incidental - it had been masterminded by Thiel.

took a weird turn at the end

good book, very interesting topic. well read. oddly political at the end, even though I generally agree with the author it still felt out of place and ended a good book on a sour note.

wild story but didn't particularly grab me.
Revisado: 06-21-18
the narration was good, story was cool, but it wasn't a particularly excitingly written book. a lot of exposition for not a ton of payoff, which I get is because it's a mostly true story, but I could have done with less info about each person and their lives
