Great Story! Little Too Much Detail

Solid story, plus leaves a couple “hooks” for a possible sequel. However , despite being a confirmed “space techie” I believe that the incredible amount of tech detail slowed the plot to where it dragged in places.
I’ll certainly buy the sequel if......

It started so slow compared to previous books in the series that I almost considered putting it aside for a while. However it steadily ramped up and finished with the usual “where is the next book!”

The author has had a few stories with slow spots but this one zipped along with two parallel investigations that BOTH hooked me from the beginning and kept building. It even had a brother Micky Haller cameo. Great writing!

First rate job on the first book of the series which I read many years ago. The plot and sub-plots get more and more complex as things go forward, so it is going to be more and more difficult to do a good job in audio format.
