Historia
It is said that all who live belong ultimately to the Undying King. In the shadowy lands of Shyish, Nagash, God of Death, calls forth his soulless legions to reassert his dominion. His dread advance begins with the free city of Glymmsforge, bastion of Azyr in the Realm of Death. Standing between Nagash and his prize are the brooding Anvils of the Heldenhammer, an ancient host of Stormcast Eternals, and Lord-Castellant Pharus Thaum, guardian of the Ten Thousand Tombs. As battles between the living and the dead rage throughout the Mortal Realms, the War of Heaven and Death begins anew.

Entertaining And Fun
Revisado: 05-07-21
While not the greatest piece of literature ever written, this book is an entertaining and worthwhile chapter in the Warhammer universe. It’s paced well, and pleasantly performed. I would consider more by this author and narrator.

Historia
Here is the novel that will be forever considered a triumph of the imagination. Set on the desert planet Arrakis, Dune is the story of the boy Paul Atreides, who would become the mysterious man known as Maud'dib. He would avenge the traitorous plot against his noble family and would bring to fruition humankind's most ancient and unattainable dream.

Abridged and still a slog...
Revisado: 04-19-21
This isn't even an unabridged version of the book and it's still boring as can be. It switching between one voice actor for all parts and individual actors for different parts is profoundly annoying. Also, there are points where the Left/Right audio fall out of sync. Just when you get into a good groove with the slog of a novel, the production and technical issues kick you out of what little pleasure you may have had. I received this title for free, and I feel like I payed too much for it. If this had been my first encounter with an audiobook, it could have been disastrous.
