Absolutely stunning

A fantastic story with a fascinating magic system and all too familiar social problems, especially for the main character. The world building is well done and intertwined with the character development in a way that makes you almost not notice it happening. Highly recommended!

Fantastic story and astounding narration

This has been one of my favorite novels for a very long time. Listening to this outstanding narration makes me love it even more! I truly did not expect to be able to hear the music of Arbonne come to life. BRAVO!!!
As for the story, I will only say that it was one of the first novels that, when I finished it, I found myself crying, not because of the story itself, but because I felt as if I was leaving behind close friends who I would miss horribly and never see again.

Another fantastic story and narration

With this novel, the part of the Spice and Wolf story that most anime fans are familiar with comes to a close. Some of the narrative choices in the novel are much better than the anime, though! The narration of this, and the previous books, is truly outstanding. J. Michael and Brina bring the story to life in a way no other narrative pair could, due to their work on the anime series. In general, the story Hasekura sensei has crafted out of medieval economic, religious, and political building blocks with these two fantastic characters at the center is a thing of beauty! I really don't know that there is another series of novels like it. I can't recommend it enough!

Another fantastic volume in this wonderful series. The audio book version is particularly wonderful due to the addition of Brina Palencia, the English language voice actress for the character of Holo, as co-narrator with J. Michael Tatum. It really makes the narration special.

This third novel in the Chronicles of Dorsa is a great ending to an epic story. The story has plenty of twists to keep thing interesting and the character development across the three novels is superb. One of the things I was most impressed with was the quality of the narration!
