Not enough detail but a quick book to get through.

As a prepper of many years, this book did little for me. I appreciate any anuthor who takes time out of his life to share their experience and knowledge. But once again, not much new content for me but for the beginning prepper I would reccomend.

Very slow start but got a lot better.

The book started out slow and in an uninteresting way for me. I almost gave up but I was on a 6 hour drive and kept listening. For me, it got alot better as I listened. Overall good story line and great narrator. Get past the introduction and you'll be set for a good story.

Great detail, chapter transitions, and characters

I've listened to the entire series twice and enjoyed it both times. The author provides detailed descriptions of characters, scenes, and actions throughout the book. The first time I listened to the series I missed many details which I picked up the second time. The characters are well developed and written in such a way that you personally become interested in their fate. I listened to the book from a 'personal experience' perspective and you can't do that. In other words I analyzed every scene and determined if the outcome was possible or improbable. I quickly dropped that mindset and listened to the book as the author wrote it and enjoyed it. Highly Recommend.
