Historia
Black Americans have long been shackled to the Democrats. Seeing no viable alternative, they have watched liberal politicians take the Black vote for granted without pledging anything in return. In Blackout, Owens argues that this automatic allegiance is both illogical and unearned. She contends that the Democrat Party has a long history of racism and exposes the ideals that hinder the Black community’s ability to rise above poverty, live independent and successful lives, and be an active part of the American dream.

Great piece of journalism based on facts, not emotion.
I love the common sense Candice uses which we can all relate to.
Thank you for the education, I learned so much.

I read this book not because it was recommended to me but because I have been going to Sheila and Dylan for the past 2 months. they have been helping me with a deep sciatica problem and have worked miracles with my back and a few other hip issues. I wanted to find out more about this healer and why is it working so well compared to other medical professionals. it is definitely mind and I opening to soles and the universe. I now need time to process it all as it's extremely deep.

It's so easy to see what she is talking about. I was brought into a totally different world, yet one we live and do not live in. It opened my eyes along a path I have been searching for. life can be so simple, why do we try to make it so difficult in the Western world.

Historia
As a traditional psychotherapist, Dr. Brian Weiss was astonished and skeptical when one of his patients began recalling past-life traumas that seemed to hold the key to her recurring nightmares and anxiety attacks. His skepticism was eroded, however, when she began to channel messages from the "space between lives", which contained remarkable revelations about Dr. Weiss' family and his dead son. Using past-life therapy, he was able to cure the patient and embark on a new, more meaningful phase of his own career.

I can't wait to go back and listen to the clips I saved and put them to use in my daily life .
The way he writes/talks makes it so easy to understand or maybe it's because my heart and mind are so much more open now. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and guidance. Dyanne

Historia
Shetty grew up in a family where you could become one of three things—a doctor, a lawyer, or a failure. His family was convinced he had chosen option three: Instead of attending his college graduation ceremony, he headed to India to become a monk, to meditate every day for four to eight hours, and devote his life to helping others. After three years, one of his teachers told him that he would have more impact on the world if he left the monk’s path to share his experience and wisdom with others.

Historia
I’ve been in this life for fifty years, been trying to work out its riddle for forty-two, and been keeping diaries of clues to that riddle for the last thirty-five. Notes about successes and failures, joys and sorrows, things that made me marvel, and things that made me laugh out loud. How to be fair. How to have less stress. How to have fun. How to hurt people less. How to get hurt less. How to be a good man. How to have meaning in life. How to be more me. Recently, I worked up the courage to sit down with those diaries.

Matthew did a great job showing one of his many talents.
I found myself wanting to listen to it in the car, at night, when I woke up. He totally kept my interest. Some great lessons and I love his passion & drive for commitment.
Way to be true to yourself.
Sounds like he built up a lot of wrist muscle, he should try climbing next, he'd be a natural.

Historia
There is nothing more essential to our health and well-being than breathing. Yet, as a species, humans have lost the ability to breathe correctly, with grave consequences. Journalist James Nestor travels the world to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it. The answers aren’t found in pulmonology labs, as we might expect, but in the muddy digs of ancient burial sites, secret Soviet facilities, New Jersey choir schools, and the smoggy streets of São Paulo. Nestor tracks down men and women exploring the hidden science behind ancient breathing practices.
