Historia
Born before man recorded time, I lived for thousands of years believing myself to be something I’m not. Someone I’m not. Lied to and betrayed by gods, Daimons, and Dark-Hunters, I’ve struggled to find my way. Trained as a slayer and predator, I learned to fit in and stay low. Until I was sent to kill the one woman I couldn’t. My hesitation cost her her life. Or so I thought. I’ve learned that this world is an illusion and that my Phoebe still lives. Now I will have to travel into the very pits of Hades to try and save her.

I loved it! I get why we had it go through previous episodes but it was torture-the good kind.
After listening to his history with the dragon it was obvious he wouldnt stay with pheobe. The dragon was is first love and equal.
It was refreshing to see another side to stryker and is family. As always enjoy Simi.

It's too short

I look this and every book in the series but the last one is too short! I would be much obliged if you write another book for this series.

Historia
In his wickedly brilliant first novel, Debut Dagger Award winner Alan Bradley introduces one of the most singular and engaging heroines in recent fiction: Eleven-year-old Flavia de Luce, an aspiring chemist with a passion for poison. It is the summer of 1950 - and a series of inexplicable events has struck Buckshaw, the decaying English mansion that Flavia’s family calls home. A dead bird is found on the doorstep, a postage stamp bizarrely pinned to its beak. Hours later, Flavia finds a man lying in the cucumber patch and watches him as he takes his dying breath.

I so enjoyed this book. Flavia has peaked my interest in Chemistry once again. I used to love this subject and after a time lost any avidity I had for it.

I have enjoyed this book in audio and paperback.
Revisado: 09-03-15
I read this book once. It was loaned to me by one of my sister's friends. I loved it so much that I didn't want to give it back and if I had money at that time I would have bought it from the girl. However she loved the story as much as I so was reluctant to sell it.
When I started audio, I remembered the book and I searched google, amazon and audible to see if it was available. I couldn't find it and I was disappointed. Then I saw that the title was changed and I was even more ecstatic that it was available in audio. I do not mind the email structure of book, I found it refreshing because I have never read a book like that. It made it unique now I have it in audio so I can listen to it whenever I want to. I just goes to show that we can't run from fate and what is meant be will be. Once you set your goals stick to it have fate and your dreams will come through with hiccups and pitfalls along the way.

Any additional comments?
The beginning was boring. Since I had already bought it I decided to give a chance and it. I believe it was the English accent that put it off for me however I thoroughly enjoyed it and I wish that the series continue.

That is, if she makes it through the Change - and not all of those who are Marked do. Awesome listen!
Revisado: 02-16-15
Would you consider the audio edition of Marked to be better than the print version?
I didn't read the print version of the book so I wouldn't be able to say which is better.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Stevie-ray is my favourite character. I love the warmth she brings to the book and the group. I completely understand why she was earth.
What does Edwina Wren bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
I didn't read the print version of the book so I wouldn't be able to say which is better. However she did a good job.
Any additional comments?
This book was entertaining. I read book 2 in paperback and fell in love with the series. I live in Jamaica so it is hard to find this series available. I didn't want the kindle format because I prefer to be holding the physical book, touching the pages why I read through and I enjoy the smile of a new book when I buy it. I was a bit unsure of a audio book because I didn't feel that I could be able to listen to someone else bring across the different expressions in the book or even paint a picture for me to visualize the scenes and characters. Edwina Wren did a great job and this is my first experience with an audio book. Sometimes I would forget that it was one person-a woman reading the book to me.
It was awesome!
