Amazing narration and story

Polly Stone nails narration and brought this story to life with all the different voices and accents. I finished it on kindle and cried my eyes out. Kristin Hannah has a way of doing that to me. Beautifully written, engaging, rich historical setting and realistic, complex and unforgettable characters. Loved this book.

I loved getting the back story to how the whole system worked-- technology etc. I think the author did a great job of researching and making it really believable.

It took me a little before I could get into the narrator's voice, since most YA novels I listen to are read by young women. I thought the author did a great job of creating two distinct worlds, and making you really think about which future you would rather live in. Two extremes. Really well done.

What a chilling story!

I loved this story! It was not at all what I expected. It had the air of Mean Girls and Heathers. Great characters. Believable plot. Twists and turns. The narrator had a lovely voice and performed the various voices so well it felt like you were really hearing various people. Highly recommend.
