Working parenthood can be overwhelming, frustrating, and riddled with guilt. It can also be a source of joy, inspiration, and creativity. Balancing rich scientific research with friendly, supportive tips and anecdotes, Yael Schonbrun offers a toolkit to help even the most stressed of working parents grow the good while better managing inevitable challenges. Historia
As a botanist and professor of plant ecology, Robin Wall Kimmerer has spent a career learning how to ask questions of nature using the tools of science. As a Potawatomi woman, she learned from elders, family, and history that the Potawatomi, as well as a majority of other cultures indigenous to this land, consider plants and animals to be our oldest teachers.

The best book I’ve ever read
Revisado: 10-14-20
From the tone of the author’s voice to her magical stories and gentle guidance for how to be a better human in this more than human world - this book is by far the best book I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading / listening to. I savored it slowly over 6 months, listening as if to a dear friend or ancestor, I can’t recommend it highly enough.
