Historia
Like many historical figures, Harun al-Rashid’s biography has become part reality and part myth. A real individual and the fourth caliph of the Abbasid Caliphate, Harun al-Rashid is best known to many individuals because of his role in famous literature like One Thousand and One Nights, not necessarily because of his policy decisions. This is unusual because Harun al-Rashid was perhaps the most influential of the Abbasid caliphs due to his role in bringing economic prosperity.

Revisado: 01-10-24
The author tries to be neutral, but ends up giving very inaccurate account in the beginning of the book, of the religious events. Abu Bakr was not choosen by the ummah as the author claims, but was appointed by the prophet Muhammad (pbuh), before he died, and confirmed by the Ummah. Then, after death of Abu Bakr the ummah has chosen Umar ibn Hattab, and later Ussman. Ussman was a good ruler, not corrupt as the author claims. And Fatma, the dauther of the Prophet (pbuh) did not claim any land from anyone.
